Thanks very much for your comments. I had a feeling that my suggested procedure was over-complex.

Some questions, if you don't mind:

Did you remove Notes 5.0.x (program and registry entries) from machines before your Notes 6.5 multi-user install? If not, did this cause any problems?

I'm assuming you did the install logged on as a network administrator and then manually pulled names.nsf, etc. to the user's local Win2K settings through Explorer. Is that right?

Do you have a web link to the notes.cfg info you mentioned? I searched the release Notes for 6.0, 6.0.1, 6.0.2 and 6.5 without success.

Thanks again for your real-world feedback on this. I'll try to update the thread with anything else I come across.
